Begonia 'Convention '91'
Our aim is to tell you a little about the Society and provide some information about the cultivation of Begonias under WA conditions. We’d also like to specifically showcase Begonias bred here in WA.
Monthly meetings are held at the Southern River Community Hall, in Gosnells. Visitors are always welcome to attend.
Newsletters are distributed at each meeting or are optionally mailed to members who are unable to attend. As a member, you are also entitled to a copy of the quarterly journal of the Association of Australian Begonia Societies (Incorporated) - “Begonia Australis”.

Begonia 'Moon Moss'
The WA Begonia Society was founded in 1981 and was a founding member of the national Association of Australian Begonia Societies (Incorporated). Members continue to make significant contributions to the culture, breeding and conservation of Begonias both nationally and internationally. In 2010, after one of our founding members moved to Donnybrook, the Donnybrook Branch of the WA Begonia Society was formed and continues to build its membership well. Exhibitions are regularly held in Donnybrook and surrounding towns.
Membership fees are $AU 30.00 for both single and family membership. If you wish to have the newsletters posted to you, there is an additional $AU 14.40 per annum to cover postage costs.
