Competitions are held monthly, with points awarded going towards an annual prize.

Semperflorens – (e.g. B. 'Calla Lily’, B. ‘Charm’).

February

Cane-like, low growing - under 60 cm in height (e.g. The Meyers, B. ‘Lois Burks’).

March

Tuberous (e.g. B. sutherlandii) or Semi tuberous (e.g. B. dregei).

April

Cane-like, tall or intermediate - over 60 cm in height (e.g. B. ‘Lana’, B. ‘Irene Nuss’).

May

Shrub-like any type (e.g. B. ‘Medora’ B. ‘Nelly Bly’).

June

Closed container (Any begonia grown in a Closed Container).

July

Winter flowering. (Any Begonia in bloom).

August

Species any type (Mini show judged by popular choice).

September

Rhizomatous, leaf size small, up to 6 cm (e.g. B. ‘Bright Eyes’, B. ‘Meg’).

October

Rhizomatous, leaf size medium to large, greater than 6 cm (e.g. B. ‘New Party Girl’, B. ‘Norgrove Curl’).

November

Rexes (All types).

December

Mini Spring Show (All types).
